We rarely think of London as being rural, but wherever you are in the city, there are signs of life other than the nine million humans who reside here.
I have lived in London for almost eight years but rarely stop to look at the beauty beyond the man-made. So, I have started snapping photos wherever I go in London and you’ll be surprised at just how green Britain’s capital really is.
Five minutes walk from my house is King’s Square Garden. As I was passing through today, I spent a few minutes to capture the natural beauty of this small oasis in Central London.
And even Leicester Square has it’s fair share of trees.
I walked along the Thames from Tower Bridge yesterday. It’s surprising to see so much nature interspersed with the modern landscape. It’s only since starting this project that I have noticed so many trees and green areas.
Even Old Street looks beautiful in Spring
This is Soho Square just off Oxford Street.
I’ll keep updating this page whenever I’m out and about.
